Architecture and interior design of a gastronomic restaurant in the old town of Jávea
The project
Our studio has carried out the architecture and interior design project for the Mediterranean cuisine gastronomic restaurant Volta i Volta in the old town of Jávea.
Our clients, a couple of gastronomy professionals who have worked in different parts of the world, have chosen the old town of Jávea as their preferred location to open their gastronomic restaurant of traditional Mediterranean food with new touches. They have trusted our architecture and interior design studio and our work in the task of carrying out both the architectural project and the interior design project for the comprehensive reform of the premises - in this case an old town house, typical of the old town of Javea.
Starting with structural interventions in the old building, continuing with the recovery of existing traditional materials in pavement, stone and wood, until taking care of the smallest details of the design and the final interior decoration, it has been a project for restaurant architecture and commercial interior design that we loved. The combination of traditional elements with light-hearted modern materials and design - among others, trowelled concrete - to give it a contemporary and light touch, has been characteristic for this project.
With this Project, we have carried out the rehabilitation of one more ancient building in the old town of Jávea. Among our projects, you will find more buildings in the old town of Jávea, both for rehabilitation and comprehensive refurbishment as well as new construction.
