Full refurbishment of a property in the port of Jávea
The project
Our architecture, interior design and project management studio HoffmannWehr was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of this three-floor house in the port of Jávea, with the aim of turning it into an elegant, bright home with a clear interior design for the owners. The aim was also integrating in a harmonious way the various art objects and Mexican ceramics of the clients in the interior design concept.
In our interior design concept we proposed the opening of spaces – so we created on the main floor a completely open space of entrance / hall area - living room – dining room – kitchen with connection to the covered and open terrace as well as garden. Kitchen and furniture were partly designed by our studio in detail and produced by a local carpenter for this refurbishment.
In the furniture we choose national manufacturers, in the dining room for example some artisans who work with wicker in a traditional way with great success and international reputation.
We chose a sculptural design lighting piece to brighten the dining area.
With neutral colors in wall and floor coverings, kitchen surfaces, fabrics and upholstery we created the sobriety and clear lines that customers wanted and that reinforce the touches of color in their paintings and ceramic objects, etc., a sober and elegant design.
