We want to introduce ourselves, but rather than speaking about us as an “architecture studio,” we want to share who we are as people, how we work, and why we do what we do with such passion and dedication.

At HoffmannWehr we don’t just design spaces; we live them, dream them, and create them—with people at the center of every decision. Behind our architecture and interior design studio are us, Anja Hoffmann and Ulrike Wehr: an architect, and an interior designer and economist, with international backgrounds—different yet complementary—united by the same passion: turning dreams into projects and spaces that inspire.

Who is behind HoffmannWehr?

Our story began with a friendship and a shared vision: to create architecture in a different way—approachable, honest, and deeply personalized.

Anja grew up among diverse cultures, enriching her aesthetic sensitivity and global design perspective. She combines interior design, with a keen eye for detail, materials, colors, and textures, with project management skills that ensure nothing escapes her attention. Every project in her hands gains warmth and aesthetic coherence, without ever losing sight of functionality. Her multidisciplinary background and experience in interior design and construction project management bring added value to every project, always connected to earth, light, and noble materials.

Ulrike, on the other hand, brings a technical and structured approach, with a special talent for understanding clients’ needs and turning them into functional, harmonious spaces. Her education and professional experience reflect impeccable technical precision, but also a close and human approach felt in every project. Her calm and clear way of presenting solutions inspires confidence throughout every stage—from concept to the final details.

She loves working with light, volumes, and proportions, exploring how each element enhances the unique character of a space. Her natural ability to see hidden potential allows her to propose innovative ideas without sacrificing functionality. With her skills in coordinating teams and managing projects of various scales, she ensures that the final result is not only aesthetically flawless but also technically sound.

Together we founded HoffmannWehr as a studio where architecture and interior design blend naturally, without hierarchies or divisions, creating complete, coherent, and personalized spaces.

Our philosophy: we design with you, for you

At HoffmannWehr we believe architecture goes far beyond raising walls or distributing rooms. For us, designing a space means understanding a way of living, a way of feeling—a personal story that deserves to be heard and transformed into place.

We believe in direct contact with each client. From the first meeting to the last detail of the construction, we personally lead and supervise every project, with fluid communication, agile decision-making, and a genuine connection to each client’s wishes.

Even though starting a construction or a renovation can feel overwhelming, we work to simplify every process. Technical decisions, permits, paperwork… we specialize in every stage, from the first consultation to handing over the keys.

We always work with a meticulous, craft-like approach, respecting our clients’ trust, the environment we intervene in, and the materials we choose. Every home, every renovation, every commercial space is unique, because every person is. That’s why our designs are as varied as our clients—and that’s something we love.
